Red and Burgundy Small Long Silk Scarf

This luxurious ponge 5 silk scarf is soft, light and hangs well - perfect for everyday wear or a special gift.

This burgundy, poppy red and cherry red long silk scarf measures 114 x 28 cm (45 x 11"). It will go around the neck once and tie. It looks smart with a shirt, as a necktie or as a headband. It has hand rolled and hand stitched edges into which I stitch my own label.  The scarf is hand washable and washing instructions are included.

Handcrafted dye technique:
I sprayed ponge 5 silk with cherry red, poppy red and burgundy steam fix dyes. Whilst wet, I dropped salt onto the dye and applied heat which pulled the dye into a unique pattern.  The scarf was then steamed to fix the dye.

Three different reds to match red outfits.

As each piece is made by hand, every scarf is one-of-a-kind.
