The beads are silk covered compressed cotton balls which are spaced with black bugle beads and finished with a black gunmetal magnetic clasp.

The necklace can be dabbed, but not immersed in water, if it gets dirty.

Handcrafted dye technique:
I painted the silk in black and golden yellow stripes. It is then steamed to fix the dye.

As each piece is made by hand, every necklace is one-of-a-kind.
