Dark Blue and Black Medium Long Silk Scarf

This luxurious ponge 5 silk scarf is soft, light and hangs well - perfect for everyday wear or a special gift.

This long silk scarf measures 150 x 40 cm (60 x 16"). It will go around the neck twice and tie. It is ideal to wear with a low-neck sweater. It has hand rolled and hand stitched edges into which I stitch my own label. The scarf is hand washable and washing instructions are included.

Handcrafted dye technique:
I sprayed ponge 5 silk with dark blue and black steam fix dyes and then dropped salt onto the wet dye. The salt then pulled the dye into a unique pattern. The scarf was then steamed to fix the dye.

Ideal for sombre occasions or useful for orchestral players who need to wear dark colours.

As each piece is made by hand, every scarf is one-of-a-kind.
