Green Silk Sarong with Tropical Leaves

This luxurious ponge 5 silk sarong is soft, light and hangs well - perfect for the beach or as a long scarf.

This green Silk Sarong, featuring tropical leaves, measures 180 x 90 cm (71 x 35"). It is large enough to wrap around the body, shoulders, or neck.  It can be tied around the waist as a skirt, around the body as a dress or over the shoulders as a shawl. It will fold up very small so is great for travelling. It is hand washable and washing instructions are included. The edges are hand rolled and hand stitched and I've sewn my designer label into the hem.

Handcrafted dye technique:
I sprayed the sarong with peppermint green, lime green and spring green, allowing the colours to merge. When dry, I painted large tropical leaves in dark green across the sarong. Finally I steamed the sarong to fix the dye.

As each piece is made by hand, every sarong is one-of-a-kind.
