Emerald Green, Turquoise Blue and Purple Silk Sarong

This luxurious ponge 5 silk sarong is soft, light and hangs well - perfect for the beach or as a long scarf.

This emerald green, turquoise blue and purple Silk Sarong measures 180 x 90 cm (71 x 35"). It is large enough to wrap around the body, shoulders, or neck.  It can be tied around the waist as a skirt, around the body as a dress or over the shoulders as a shawl. It will fold up very small so is great for travelling. It is hand washable and washing instructions are included. The edges are hand rolled and hand stitched and I've sewn my designer label into the hem.

Handcrafted dye technique:
I sprayed ponge 5 silk with emerald green, purple and turquoise blue steam fix dyes. I dropped salt onto the wet dye and then applied heat. The salt pulls the dye into a unique pattern and the sarong is then steamed to fix the dye.

As each piece is made by hand, every sarong is one-of-a-kind.
