Navy Blue, Royal Blue and Turquoise Silk Necklace

This navy blue, royal blue and turquoise silk necklace measures approx. 63 cm (25") in length. The beads are silk covered compressed cotton balls which are spaced with clear bugle beads and the necklace is joined by a silver-plated magnetic clasp.

The necklace can be dabbed, but not immersed in water, if it gets dirty.

Handcrafted dye technique:
I painted the silk in navy, royal blue and turquoise green stripes. It is then steamed to fix the dye.

As each piece is made by hand, every necklace is one-of-a-kind.
