The kaftan is 140 inches or 256 centimetres around. So if your bust or waist or hips are less than this it will fit. The length from the shoulder to the bottom is 35 inches or 89 centimetres. It has a 6 inch or 15 centimetre slit up each side. The arm hole slit is 15 inches or 38 centimetres long so will fit an arm less than 30 inches or 72 centimetres around. The kaftan is made from ponge 5 silk which is soft and light. Ideal for hot places or travelling. The kaftan is hand washable and washing instructions are included. I sprayed the silk with red and navy blue steam fix dye. Whilst wet I dropped salt onto the dye. When heat is applied the salt pulls the dye into a unique pattern. The silk was then left to dry. Next I steamed the silk to fix the pattern. Finally I machine stitched the edges and hand stitched the neck.
