This square silk bandanna measures 55 by 55 centimetres or 22 by 22 inches. It has hand rolled and hand stitched edges into which I sew my own label. It can be worn as a necktie or rolled into a band and tied around the head. I sprayed the scarf with cherry red, poppy red and burgundy dye. I then dropped salt onto the wet dye. The salt pulls the dye into a unique pattern. The bandanna was then steamed to fix the dye. It is hand washable and washing instructions are included.
