I sprayed this silk scarf in cherry red, poppy red and burgundy steam fix dyes. I then dropped salt onto the wet dye. When heat was applied the salt pulled the dye into a unique pattern. When dry I steamed the scarf to fix the dye. The scarf is then hand washable. Measures 114 by 28 centimetres or 45 by 11 inches.
